Travel Advice and Holiday Vaccinations
The Humberstone Medical Centre offers a wide range of travel advice and vaccinations.
If you are travelling overseas and need advice on the vaccinations required, please come in to the surgery and we will give you a form to complete.
Once they have the form, one of our nurses will conduct research on your behalf to discover which vaccinations are necessary for your destination. Please contact the surgery after two working days to find out your requirements and make arrangements for an appointment. In order to be completely effective, vaccines should be given six weeks before departure, so if you are thinking of travelling please give us as much notice as possible.
When you go on to have the travel vaccinations, although most of them are free, there is a charge for some of the more unusual ones and we will let you know this charge when you make your appointment.
