Diabetes Clinics

The prevalence of diabetes is twice as high in Leicester as the national average; some 17,000 people in Leicester have been diagnosed and it is believed that a further 17,000 could have undiagnosed diabetes.

For this reason, Humberstone Medical Centre has set up a dedicated Diabetes Clinic. The clinic is operated by Nurse Glynis Batchen who has a Diploma in Primary Care Diabetes Management. It is supervised by Doctor Than, our GP with a Special Interest in Diabetes.
