Asthma and Chronic Obstructive Airways Disease Clinics
An estimated 5.4million people in the UK have asthma and a further 3 million have a condition known as COPD which includes both chronic bronchitis and emphysema. It is thought that COPD is the only major cause of mortality in the UK whose incidence is on the increase.
Our specialised Asthma and COPD clinics are run by Nurse Samantha Maye who has Diplomas in both the COPD Module and Asthma Module. The clinic uses an electronic Spirometer to aid diagnosis and management.
