A native of Merseyside, Dr Jones studied medicine in Sheffield before moving south to join the Humberstone Medical Centre as Partner in 1981.
Dr Jones is experienced in performing minor surgery and in fitting the Intra-Uterine Contraceptive Device (IUD). As Medical Officer to the local Foxton Grange Nursing home, he has special experience in Psychiatry for the Elderly, and also leads HMC in men’s health.
Dr Jones is a Trustee for the Leicestershire Hospice organisation LOROS and also works as a Clinical Tutor and External Examiner for medical students from the University of Leicester Medical School.
