Location

The surgery has excellent access from Leicester’s road network, is less than 2 minutes from the Ring Road A563 giving quick access to the whole of Leicester, whilst there is an excellent service of bus transport to both Wycombe Road (bus stop outside surgery) and the nearby Uppingham Road.

By Car

From Hamilton/Porsche Roundabout:

  • Continue ‘clockwise’ along Ring Road A563 to next roundabout (0.85 miles)
  • Take 3rd exit into Lower Keyham Lane
  • Continue forward onto Humberstone Drive (1.28 miles)
  • Turn right at mini roundabout onto Wycombe Road
  • The medical centre is on your left (approx 1.6 miles)

From Junction 21 (M69):

  • Follow signs for Ring Road A563 and continue for 4.26 miles
  • At roundabout by Leicester Racecourse, take 1st exit onto A6
  • At traffic lights turn right onto A6030 (6.02 miles)
  • At Gartree roundabout, take 1st exit and continue on A6030
  • Continue past Leicester General on right
  • At traffic signals continue forward (8.35 miles)
  • Turn right onto Wycombe Road (8.59 miles)

From Uppingham Road A47 intersection with Colchester Road/Goodwood Road (A563):

  • Follow A47 into City Centre (warning Speed camera)
  • Drive past Trocadero Shell on right
  • Turn right into Humberstone Drive
  • At mini roundabout turn left into Wycombe Road
  • The surgery is on your left

Directions from City Centre:

  • Take inner ring road A594 to the roundabout by St George’s Retail Park and take A47 sign posted Peterborough
  • After 1.87 miles turn left onto A6030
  • After 0.24 miles turn right onto Wycombe Road
  • The surgery is on your right at the end of Wycombe Road

By Bus

From Hamilton, Netherhall, Humberstone Village:

  • No 58A

Buses along Uppingham Road towards city centre from Scraptoft, Thurncourt, Thurnby Lodge, etc:

  • Walk from Bus stop at Humberstone Park entrance along Humberstone Drive to Wycombe Road (approx 5 minutes)

From City Centre:

  • No 58

From Rowlatts Hill and Leicester General Hospital:

  • No 14
  • Then walk from Coleman Road to The Portway, and then turn right into Wycombe Road (approx 15 mins)
